I grew up on the stage and screen in NY, appearing in numerous Off-Broadway shows, Nat’l Tours, and workshops including originating the role of Mary Lennox in the Broadway workshop of The Secret Garden and appearing in the films Born on the 4th of July and Welcome to the Dollhouse. Since moving to LA, I've Recurred, Guest Starred and Co Starred on TV shows on many networks including Netflix, Showtime, CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, TNT & CW. Some of my favorite recent credits include All American, Fresh off the Boat, Young Sheldon, Shameless, Atypical, & Grey’s Anatomy. I've also appeared in numerous commercial campaigns, most recently Aldi Grocery Stores and an award winning Opioid Education campaign in Ohio covering tv, radio and print. 

As a Voice Over Artist, you can hear me as the English voice in many live action dubbing projects & in several scripted podcasts and have trained extensively in narration, video games, commercials, animation and audiobook narration. I'm thrilled to announce I'm a current member of the  2026 Penguin Randomhouse Narrator Mentorship Program and my first book, "Who is Ilohna Maher" is now available on Audible. 

When I'm not acting, I love running my own personal training business, volunteering for organizations that help women and children and focus on gun violence prevention & singing, singing, signing!!!
